EERREC video, 2023

For the third consecutive year, the EERREC REU has included a science communication workshop, with a 3-minute video as capstone experience.

Each video, written and produced by an individual scholar, informs a particular audience about how rapid environmental change can influence individual organisms and species. Nicole McNabb, a UC Davis graduate student in Pharmacology and Toxicology, led the workshop, with assistance from Ecology graduate student Jasmin GreenJessica Lee, the Marketing and Communications Director of the UC Davis Coastal and Marine Sciences Institute, assisted with post-production.

We are thrilled with these videos. Congratulations to everyone in the 2023 Cohort of EERREC Scholars!

p.s. You can get a playlist with videos by specific scholars. To do this, rather than clicking the red arrow, select "Watch on YouTube"  in the bottom left, then select "...more" in the grey box.

p.p.s. And ICYMT, you can find the 2021 and 2022 videos here too:

  • 2021 EERREC video: bugs that eat plants, climate change in marine systems, pollinators, and more
  • 2022 EERREC video:  butterflies, spiders, and fishes, oh my! And many other interesting critters
